Michelle Kim, violinist, joined the New York Philharmonic in 2001 as the Assistant Concertmaster, The William Petschek Family Chair. As an active chamber musician, Ms. Kim has collaborated with artists including Cho Liang Lin, Pinchas Zukerman, Mstislav Rostropovich, Lynn Harrell, Lang Lang, Jean Yves Thibaudet, Alisa Weilerstein and Yefim Bronfman. Ms. Kim is currently on the violin faculty of the Mannes School of Music and New York University. Previous teaching positions include USC/Thornton
